• Here is my Gamertag and a link to xbox.com, as you can see I spend far too much time trying to achieve virtual achievement on the 360 then is good for anyones health. But I look at gaming as the new chess – if I spent my hours whiling away my time playing Chess with a stranger down the local park, people wouldn’t say a single word.
• But because I play football online (which I think equates to a strategy game much the same as a game like chess) I get told I’m wasting my life away - and not achieving any real goals or benefits.
• But I disagree, I think that as well and challenging your mind, gaming also enhances your hand-eye co-ordination and also develops your puzzle solving skills, as well as your communication skills with other cultures.
• It's not all about shouting abuse down your headset at some 11 year old for owning you at Halo. (Although there is also a lot of that!)
• I personally wouldn’t speak to my old male friends half as much if I couldn’t shoot zombies while doing so, its different for men, as most of us won’t sit on the phone for hours chatting about shit as some humans do.
  

• I've had my forum gamertag link for years, but I have to say I've just joined Mygamercard today and this flash version is the best yet... shame i can't align it right..

I love games and have been well into computers and gaming from the ripe old age of eleven and the classic ZX81. My god that seem like a long time ago 28 years ago to be precise!? I think i will stop there and just say the first game i remember completing was Dungoen Master and I still have fond memoires of that game now and use halk as my icon on this site. I still don't think its been surpassed - you can download it for the PC from the link page on this site, go on and see what i mean...

Not Bad not Brill

X- Men Origins: Wolverine

I used to love the X-men – before the movies came out that is - and like most people I know, Logan, is up there with the best of the characters. Don’t get me wrong Huge Jackman is awesome in the role and certainly looks the part but the rest of the characters are a bit meh! He needed his own movie I do agree with that but from what I hear that also is a bit meh! The game on the other hand is good – not great but good. One of those games where you go – hmm, loads of blood (ala – Conan or Beowulf) not the best game there is but fun, there are many ways you can decapitate a thing or person, and enough to keep you going for a long while. It’s cool to pull the head off bad guys in slow-mo lol. I found my self hour’s later sitting there going – shit that time already, 4 hours later. I liked it! It kept me going until the end. There were enough levels to keep me going for a couple of days and there were different enough. Puzzles were a bit crap and easy though – and the bad guys kept on repeating. I hated the button mashing of the super bosses the leviathan and Wendigos but that pretty much standard with these types of games. All in all if you liked Conan, Vikings or Beowulf you will like this game, graphic are real good, story is the same as the in the movie and the achievements are worth getting with a few Easter-eggs thrown in for good measure. The only thing I hated was that once you have completed it, it unlocks Hard mode, but when you start again with hard mode it wipes out all your previous data and starts you back at the beginning without any power-ups!!! What the hells with that? I don’t want to go through it again vanilla style, it takes away all the fun you just had, you can’t even go back and choose a level as it's also locked. Rubbish!

Conan

I liked Conan is got slated in the gaming press as a tre-rubbish game – but I liked it more than Vikings and Beowulf because it was just savage throwing people on stake and ripping arms off lol that’s Conan for ya! Wolverine looks better but I almost completed Conan twice, which I more than I can say for Wolverine.
